This is done in order to provide the impression of an inclusive working environment without looking at belonging and structures within an organisation to support this. It is indeed beneficial for companies to take steps towards creating a diverse workforce. The subject of tokensim can be misconstrued as pushing diversity whilst ignoring inclusion.
