An opportunity to be at the core of training issues in international Tourism and hospitality for the AMFORHT 50th Anniversary
This annual event aims to bring together around 130 participants worldwide: hoteliers, restaurant owners, tourism professionals, schools, universities, tourist institutions, international tourism experts. To pay tribute to the educational know-how of one of the first economic sectors focused on human capital, the 23rd AMFORHT World Forum will be held in Paris from 14th to 16th March 2019. As it coincides with the Organization’s 50th anniversary, the event will be exceptionally welcomed at the French National Assembly on 15th March.
This AMFORHT Global Forum offers participants from all countries an incredible place to meet. Participants are able to exchange and share knowledge, but also they take a concrete opportunity to create projects together! During three days, the event will bring together training and education actors and tourism professionals from all over the world, in a wide range of activities and interactive meetings.
The discussion & partnership facilitation is materialized through contemporary debates, conferences, round tables and business networking sessions.

Program summary
– 14th March: visit of hotel schools, universities in Paris & France; “get together” professional meeting at the hôtel Mercure Paris Boulogne, (free STR seminar “Certification in Hotel Industry Analytics”CHIA ), welcome reception and evening cocktail & buffet
– 15th March: Opening ceremony of the 23rd World Forum at the French National Assembly – Palais Bourbon, official speeches, 12 conferences & roundtables; business networking, Gala dinner at the historical reception room of the Hotel School of Paris / CFA Médéric, & AMFORHT Awards ceremony
– 16th March: Annual General Assembly of AMFORHT, business networking lunch at the IEFT IDRAC Paris La Défense – afternoon cruise visit of Paris with les Bâteaux Mouches – Friendly dinner, exceptional parisian show at “Le Paradis Latin” cabaret
AMFORHT at a glance
«Since its creation in 1969 at the initiative of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), AMFORHT has been reflecting the developments in the Hospitality, Tourism and F&B sectors while adapting to its necessary changes. Through international initiatives, its network of schools, universities, hotel groups and experts has also been expressing the humanistic & social values of AMFORHT; with the support of United Nations and UNWTO.
Since 2017, AMFORHT is recognized as an NGO with special consultative status by the United Nations Economic and Social Council, for education and training issues in tourism. More than 700 members from 65 countries are actively part of the network.
