Putting a challenge year behind it, in which inbound tourism took a hit, South Korea’s travel industry is ready to take on 2018 with new vigour and vision.

Mobile is changing customer behaviour and travellers in South Korea are moving up the value chain, armed with higher spending power as well as expectations.

A wave of innovation is sweeping through the industry as new players enter travel, incumbents defend turf, low cost airlines spread their wings and traditional travel companies evolve their business models for the mobile age.
